### Rabby Wallet ([rabby.io](#rabby-wallet-rabby.io))

Rabby Wallet is a decentralized, non-custodial Ethereum-based wallet that allows users to connect to many decentralized applications to store, buy, send, and swap crypto tokens. It’s your first gateway to enter the DeFi ecosystem.

Rabby Wallet could be easily accessed as a browser extension that is widely supported on Chrome, Desktop, and Mobile

### Set up Rabby Wallet

You could start by downloading the Rabby Wallet by following [this link ](https://rabby.io)

Once you finished downloading Rabby Wallet, follow these steps to complete the setup:

Click on “**Create a new address**” to start, or if you already have the crypto wallet, click on "**I already have an address**”.

Create a password for your wallet. This password is used to unlock the Rabby wallet, you could think of it as a password or pin that you use to unlock your mobile or PC device.

One of the most important steps in creating any wallet is the “Backup Seed Phrase”. Write it down on a piece of paper in order before proceeding to the next step.&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://4038201849-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fp8gzuKaMAqWudWgMpNoM%2Fuploads%2F58CvJM7zwDuo3K1CeLQP%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=9aec6f38-2116-4b2e-93d0-6b5fdf063d03" alt="" width="375"><figcaption><p>Write down the seed phrase in your paper and keep it very secret.</p></figcaption></figure>

Please keep your 12-word seed phrase secure as it serves as your wallet password. Losing your seed phrase means losing access to your funds.

{% hint style="info" %}
A secret recovery phrase (sometimes called "Seed phrase") is a set of words that could be used to access or recover your wallet. We recommend you write it down on a piece of paper and keep it in your most safe place.
{% endhint %}

Setting up the wallet password: The wallet password functions like a PIN, allowing you to unlock and access your wallet easily. If you forget your wallet password, you can still regain access to your wallet using your seed phrase.

Please be cautious when using Rabby Wallet alongside other wallets simultaneously.

Go to your browser's extension manager and enable only one wallet at a time.
